Eligibility: Candidates belonging to rural poor youth in the age- group of 15-35 years are eligible for training, the upper age limit in case of Persons with disabilities ( PWD), Transgender and other special groups like rehabilitated bonded labour etc. shall be 45 years.

Youth from Below poverty line ( BPL), MANREGA worker household with at least 15 days work in the previous financial year by any of its family members, household with RSBY Card, Antyodya Anna Yojna/ BPL PDS cards, youth from a household covered under auto inclusion parameter as per SECC. In case a candidate does not fulfils any of the poverty criteria mentioned above the candidate is eligible for training provided that the Household income of the candidate does not exceeds Rs.2.5 Lacs.( In such a case an Income Certificate duly signed and verified from the Sarpanch has to be furnished by the Candidate).

Eligibility: Candidate needs to be more than 18 years of Age.

Eligibility: Candidates belonging to urban poor households and not having undergone training under the SJSRY/NULM in any other trade during the last 3 years. The candidate can however be provided advanced training on the skills acquired in any previous training.

Any candidate belonging to the urban household is eligible for training provided that the Household income does not exceeds Rs.3 Lacs( In such a case an Income certificate duly signed and verified from the Municipal Counsellor has to be furnished).

Ministry of Skill Development & Entreprteneurship (MSDE) with an intention to establish aspirational Multi skill training centres in every district of the country has set up PMKKs across India. Punjab has been allocated 17 PMKKs in 17 districts except- Pathankot, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur and Kapurthala.

PSDM has taken up administration of capacity building component under BADP which covers six districts of Punjab adjoining the International Border.

Punjab Skill Development Mission is conducting placement linked short term courses in different sectors like Retail, IT and Healthcare etc. which includes a separate module on English and Soft Skills.
